Dear Parent,
I am delighted to report that the High School of Glasgow Home and School Association’s Ladies Lunch and Fashion Show which took place on Sunday, 4th March, in the Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow, in aid of the Beatson Young Adult Fund raised a staggering £25,793.
Our donation to the Beatson Young Adult Fund is one of the biggest they have ever received and the Beatson staff are overwhelmed by the support. This large amount of money will go a long way to help support teenagers and young adults at a time when they are vulnerable and coming to terms with their diagnosis of cancer.
We are very grateful to the teacher and pupil models and parent helpers who gave their time to support the event.
Our sincere thanks go to everyone who kindly donated raffle and auction prizes as the selection on offer made the auction very exciting. With everyone bidding and buying raffle tickets we were able to raise more money for this worthwhile charity.
