Mr Colin Mair (Rector) The Rector is responsible for the overall management of the school, liaising with the Governors, the Head Teacher of the Junior School, the Bursar, parents, prospective parents, former pupils, educational bodies and outside agencies. A crucial part of the remit is the selection of pupils and the appointment of staff. In addition to these areas of responsibility, the Rector deals with the allocation of bursaries and is involved in the financial management of the school and its development.

Mr John O'Neill (Senior Deputy Rector) The Senior Deputy Rector deals with the day to day running of the school with a particular interest in the oversight of the Prefect system and the S5 and S6 year groups, including UCAS procedures and the administration of SQA examinations. The Professional Review and Development of staff, the organisation of in-service training for staff along with the supervision of induction procedures for probationary teachers and student attachments comes under this remit. The Senior Deputy Rector is responsible for the production of the School Development Plan, parental liaison through the Home and School Association and for public relations in general. Mr O'Neill is also responsible for Information Technology and the administration systems used within the school.

Mr Magnus Brown (Deputy Rector) This Deputy Rector organises the annual Open Evening, Entrance Tests for the Senior School, supervises the administration of internal school examinations and the production of the School Timetable. He has the oversight of Third and Fourth Year pupils, giving curricular advice to S4. The House System, which is the High School's guidance system, and the Personal and Social Development programme come under this remit. Mr Brown also deals with the supervision of charitable activities, Community Service and is the European Co-ordinator.

Mrs Maggie Price (Deputy Rector) This Deputy Rector has overall responsibility for the curriculum. She has oversight of Transitus, First and Second Year pupils and liaises with the Junior School. She organises the induction of all new pupils as well as dealing with all aspects of school uniform in the Senior School. The areas of Learning Support, Child Protection and the supervision of Form staff come under her remit.
